I have taught piano for almost 20 years. I like to teach in person and demonstrate. I felt that nothing is better for a student than an in-person piano lesson. They need to see it, feel it, and hear it. They need to see it on their own instrument.

I Couldn’t Stand Online

I couldn’t do that online. I was tired of choosing between apps that were made for voice and sounded bad or apps with a big learning curve and way more features than I had the bandwidth to use. So I kept teaching in person.

1ON1 Piano

But the world went online, so I designed 1ON1 Piano. It’s an app that is easy to use, available as a dedicated app on most major platforms, and uses piano-to-piano technology so that I can play the student’s instrument just like I do in person, and I can easily switch through camera views to show them exactly what they need to see to succeed
